Description

HamGeek KMBOX Nvideo Network KM Controller Video Acquisition Card Support Loop Out Function XBOX360 KM Converter

What is Nvideo?

- Kmbox Nvideo can be understood as a collection of three devices:

1. Kmbox Net network keyboard and mouse controller. Its API is consistent with net.

2. Kmbox Video acquisition card with a loop out function.

3. Xbox 360 keyboard mouse to controller converter.

- Nvideo = Net + Video Acquisition Card+Keyboard Mouse Converter

What can the Nvideo be used for?

- Like net, it can control keyboard and mouse purely at the hardware level.

- Capable of acquisite graphics card images and HDMI-compatible output. Zero delay loop output to the display. No need to drive. Not afraid of testing.

- Support universal acquisition card calling, recording videos, live streaming, rebroadcasting and other video streaming functions.

- It can convert keyboard and mouse into controllers. Adjustable parameters and curves.

Nvideo Performance:

- Nvideo's HDMI-compatible In maximum support 1920x1080 at 60HZ (2K) video signal input.

- Nvideo's HDMI-compatible Out supports 0-latency loop-back (no latency, no impact on gaming experience).

- Nvideo's USB3.0 maximum support 1920x1080 at 60Hz acquisition. Delay is 3-5 FPS (depending on computer configuration).

- Nvideo's game console keyboard and mouse interface supports a maximum return rate of 1000Hz to control the keyboard and mouse of the game console.

- Nvideo's primary mouse interface supports external keyboard and mouse integration. The highest return rate is 1000Hz.

- Nvideo's network port supports monitoring physical keyboard and mouse status. Modify data from the keyboard and mouse interface to fully control the keyboard and mouse interface. Its performance is 1000 calls per second.

- Nvideo supports keyboard and mouse to controller function (under improvement).

Wiring Method:

- Game console graphics card output (HDMI-compatible IN): This port is connected to the graphics card output through an HDMI-compatible cable. The box collects computer images through this port.

- Game console monitor (HDMI-compatible OUT): This port is connected to the monitor via an HDMI-compatible cable. The HDMI-compatible IN image will be output to the monitor through this port. It will not introduce any delay.

- Game console keyboard and mouse (Device): This port is connected to the game console through a USB cable. No drivers are required on the gaming console. Automatically recognized as a standard keyboard and mouse. The box controls the game console keyboard and mouse through this port.

- External keyboard and mouse ports: This port can be used to connect a keyboard and mouse externally. The external keyboard and mouse are used to control the game console.

- Secondary network ports (USB2.0): This port is connected to the secondary machine (a single machine is a game console) through a USB2.0 cable. Game keyboard and mouse can be controlled through third-party programs.

- Secondary video acquisition devices (USB3.0): This port is connected to the secondary device (which is the game console itself) through a USB3.0 cable. Through this port, HDMI-compatible IN image signals can be obtained.

- Note: It is recommended to connect all wires and finally connect the USB3.0 video acquisition port. Provide power to the box. Do not connect the USB3.0 cable first. Otherwise, there will be problems with live operation.

Precaution:

- Be sure to ensure that the resolution of the graphics card HDMI-compatible input is 1920x1080 at 60Hz (or below), super bandwidth is not supported. May cause abnormal display.

- After connecting the USB3.0 cable, if the device manager camera displays USB2 video. This proves that the current port is not USB3.0. USB2 Video can also be used, but it is unable to achieve optimal transmission speed and efficiency.

- You can use the upper computer software of the box to test whether the current image acquisition and keyboard/mouse function are normal. Ensure that it is functioning properly before opening third-party software.

Testing Method:

- After connecting the wires as above, you can use commonly used software such as OBS or VLC to test the function of the box's acquisition card. Taking OBS as an example:

1. Open OBS and create a new video capture device.

2. Select the camera of the box to display the image.

3. If both the image and KM are normal. The hardware of the box is OK.

- Note: If you are a developer. Suggest using the demo in GitHub for testing. The delay is basically stable between 80-100ms.
